Messed up life – Web Short
Creative concept development, screenwriting, Producer, Director
Marketing & PR Brand Integration
Every month, millions of people around the world visit popular humor sites to view and submit anecdotes, pictures, and videos containing funny situations. I was assigned to create a story concept for comedy micro blogging site MessedUpLife.com in order to enhance the MessedUpLife.com experience and differentiate the website from other comedy websites.
I created a story concept and highly identifiable characters for an online comedy series based on the stories of contributors of MessedUpLife.com and wrote, produced and directed a 7 minute pilot episode. As a Writer, Producer and Director on this project I understood that Social Media combined with online entertainment offered a whole new level of flexibility, interaction and engagement. To create interaction, I used selected stories of the MessedUpLife.com community to be integrated into the script of the pilot episode as anecdotes, dialogue and backstory.
